The **MedRemind** app is strictly **Offline First** and does **NOT** transmit your personal health information, medication data, or vital signs to any server, including our own. All sensitive data stays securely on your device.
This Privacy Policy outlines the practices of SLG Developers ("We," "Us," "Our") regarding the **MedRemind** mobile application (the "App"). We are highly committed to user privacy and maintaining full **COPPA compliance**.
1. Collection and Storage of Information
The MedRemind App operates under a model of **ZERO SERVER-SIDE DATA COLLECTION**.
A. Personal Health Information (PHI)
Medication Data: All data related to your medications (names, dosages, schedules, history, refill status, doctor instructions) is stored **locally in an encrypted database on your device only.**
Health Tracking Data: All logged vitals (Blood Pressure, Glucose, Heart Rate, Weight, etc.), symptom records, and appointment details are stored **locally on your device only.**
Multi-Profile Data: Data for all profiles (family, caregiver) is segmented and stored **locally on your device.**
We do not have access to, nor do we collect, view, or transmit any of this sensitive health or personal data off your device.
B. General Information and Identifiers
No Identifiers: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, or any persistent identifiers (like device or advertising IDs) that could be used to personally identify you.
Data Management: The App provides users with options to reset or manage their local data, giving you complete control over the information stored on your device.
The **MedRemind** App is designed to manage profiles for all ages, including children. We adhere strictly to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Because the App collects absolutely no personal information or persistent identifiers from any user and stores all data locally, we are fully compliant with COPPA's requirements.
The **Multi-Profile Support** feature allows parents/guardians to manage a child’s data securely on their own device without any transmission or server-side collection.
3. Third-Party Advertisements (App Contains Ads)
The **MedRemind** App is a free service supported by advertisements.
Ad Provider: Ads are delivered via **Google AdMob** (Google Mobile Ads SDK).
Non-Personalized Ads (NPA): To strictly enforce our commitment to user privacy and COPPA compliance, the App is configured to request **non-personalized ads (NPA)** from Google AdMob for **all users**.
This configuration prevents the ad network from collecting or using personal data (including health data) for ad targeting, ensuring maximum privacy.
4. Data Security and Deletion
Security: All user data is stored locally in a secure, encrypted database on your device, leveraging the operating system's security features.
Deletion: Since we hold no server-side data, deleting your data is achieved by using the App's **Data Management** options (Reset Data) or by simply uninstalling the application, which removes all local data stored on your device.
